AUB Press welcomes
book proposal submissions for scholarly or serious works pertaining to Lebanon
or the Middle East within the following fields: humanities, social sciences,
behavioral sciences, natural sciences, and medicine. The Press also considers
memoirs; it does not normally publish poetry, fiction, symposia, or
unrevised doctoral dissertations.
Prospectus Details
To
have your manuscript considered for publication by AUB Press, submit a
prospectus that includes the following information:
• The title of
the book
• The table of contents
• The anticipated length of
the book (page count — double-spaced)
• The expected completion
date
• A profile of the intended readership
(e.g., textbook, general
audience, scholarly audience)
• The author’s curriculum vitae
• One completed chapter of the proposed publication
• A
statement describing how the manuscript relates to other recently published
books on the topic
If you are proposing a textbook, your prospectus
must include the courses for which it would be suitable.
